Construction Site Information: Directions from the Main Train Station to the Hotel
From September 7, 2026, through the end of October 2027, the S-Bahn main line between Vienna Central Station and Vienna Praterstern will be closed. This means the trip from the main train station to the hotel is divided into two stages.
Here’s the easiest way: Board the U1 at the Südtiroler Platz Hauptbahnhof station and ride to Praterstern without changing trains. Change to the S-Bahn there and continue on to Handelskai (this section is not affected by the closure). The U1 will run at increased frequency during construction.

S-Bahn:
